winamp exe??
 

hello .just installed winamp 3. tried to play an mp3 and got the messege 'windows can not find WINAMP EXE'. I have uninstalled older version,mp3 pro and shn amp.still no luck.Even installed direct from this site,still same outcome;'windows cannot find WINAMP EXE'. What now? am i doing something wrong or not? can someone please help?

older version of what? if it's wa2, you should reinstall wa2 in a separate directory, remove associations, and uninstall wa2. if wa3, your computer must be borked, and i wouldn't know what to do. also make sure that associations in wa3 are secured.

winamp3 -> preferences -> media -> select all -> check all boxes to right
(or just select mp3 any any others of your choice from the list)
