20 second looping
 

Setup as follows: winamp2, winXP, dell poweredge 1300 dual processor, cable modem, linksys router...

Finally appears to be streaming to the outside. Shoutcast shows me posted after 5 minutes. Everything seems to be fine. Why does the playlist loop the beginning 20 seconds of the song only? :weird:

I might be wrong but i remmber in the very early version there was something called play preview - or something along the lines, that would play only like 5-10 secs of every song to kinda help ya decide what ya wanna listen to, I dont think that this option exists any longer, but as i said earlier, i might be wrong..... could it be that you are using this same old version of winamp?

I'm not so sure that's the case. When I play the songs through winamp, I don't have that problem. When I logout onto my address:port/listen.pls to test the stream, is where I experiene the problem. Could it be the outside hears the correct thing?

Hi just a thought did you input plugins like crossfaders.... are you running it from winamp recommended or your sound card...Or you may have gap killer not set properly...these are just ideas for you to check...What is you link I will tell you if you want if your stream is ok....:winamp:
