you can sorta see it if you let your vision get really blury, so you can't distinguish objects very well, but the colors get much more obviously similar. this works well for those with spectacles :p

Are there any good sites with more optical illusions like that? I've seen a couple of sites on the net, but none of them are really that good....

I don't know I am kind of shocked that the illusion is that illusive, it's obvious that they are the same because the shadow from the cylinder changes the shade of what is percieved as the lighter colored square. I don't know maybe I am weired. But when I first saw it I immediately noticed the colors were the same. It wasn't until after looking at it for a while that the illusion of the colors being different started taking affect.

Perhaps if the letter "B" were the same shade as the letter "A" (or vice-versa) it would be more believable. But I'm still in shock. I think my eyes are playing tricks on me.

I used to have some good optical-illusion sites, because I did a graphic design project with them once. I'll have to see if I can find them again.
