low frame rates in visualization??
low down on my cpu
«« My Puter Stats »» OS«Windows XP Professional (5.1 - 2600)» Up Time«22h 35m 18s» CPU«1-AMD XP, 1673MHz, 256KB (25% Load)» Memory«Usage: 220/512MB pc2100 (42.97%)» Video Card«G4 128mb ddr ti 4200» Resolution«1152 x 864» Total Space Free«10.02Gb out of 47.33Gb» why do i only get 5.6 frame rates when i go full screen at this rez with 32bit colours? my computer is kicking yet i still get slow frame rates. most i get is 30 fps at 600x800 rez. this is really annoying me. could someone send me a custom script or settings"presets" for the default winamp visualizations so i will get a minimum of 30 fps at any rez? i REALLY don't know why i have such low frame rates, can someone please help me? thank you kindly. |
AVS uses a flating point unit (math co-processor) for making the images.. this means its 100% CPU dependant. It won't matter what display card, or ram or anything else your using it won't matter.
theirs nothing you can do but lower the cpu usage on other programs to make it faster. or buy a faster processor if you want fast framerates... i recommend that you try out using a plugin called 'Milkdrop' |
or try Acidspunk plug-in.
Good AVS and fast frame rates. |
