Netb0rking gone mad!

Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

I have one Netgear NIC connected to a router through which I connect to the internet and to our LAN. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't need all that lot in there, what the hell is it and how do I get rid of it? or do I need it for XP to work?
I do no VPN or other such stuff.

If it aint broke, don't fix it.

programs like WMware use virtual LAN adapters
it doesn't seem to be a problem though

rm' speaks the truth. But if you just have to mess with it, something I call BRBS (Big Red Button Syndrome), then try disabling (not removing) one item at a time, restarting, and checking all your net services.
