Soundcard problems

1 Attachment(s)
Here's my problem.

I wish for my voice to be heard over the MIC while I am selected into Stereo Mixer. But it cannot be heard. My MIC MUTE is unselected in my playback mixer, and yet still when I press TALK I don't get any sound (and if I do you can barely hear me).

The only way I am able to fix this is to select microfone as a recording option (instead of stereo mixer) and then switch between Winamp input and soundcard input (which sucks, they can't hear me in the backround).

Anyone got any suggestions, here's my setup:

Plantanronics Headset
Philips Acoustic Edge soundcard
AMD athlon 1.33ghz
Windows XP Professional SP1

I am using Winamp 2.81 with Shoutcast plugin 1.82b.

Here's pictures of my setup:

You need to turn the volume on "Stereo Mix" up. It is bascially muted right now.

It's not muted; check the picture.

The more I turn it up the more the sound sounds bad. The levels are already peaked.
