Audio Quality

I have just installed winamp 3, and all of the visual stuff is impressive but i have noticed a distinct change in the quality of the audio, i check like the equalizer and stuff and its all the same, but the sound is just crap, is there some sort of setting to fix this...?

Thanx DaMaGeD

the EQ is EXACTLY the same as winamp2.... the code was stolen from winamp2 (mostly) and the developers say it works exactly the same

if your not equilizing mp3 files... it won't sound the same because it uses a different method of equilizing.

sound quality might be broke if your using an old soundcard... or a newish soundcard with very very old drivers.

I recommend an update to your soundcard drivers and directX (if needed)

On some old or cheap cards directsound output is bad.
Open winamp3, press CTRL+P and disable the directsound output in the audio preferences.
