Nullsoft Waveform Decoder v2.05a
 

does anyone know anything about the codec above for a winamp 2.81? i'm trying to play certain wav files (i'm not sure why they are so special hehe) and it keeps coming up with error missing codec with v.205a as the window name (am i making sense?)

You are not making sense. Please write down exact error message you get.

the error message is

missing codec, unable to open file

and in the title bar thing it says nullsoft waveform decoder v2.05a
so i presume that i am missing the v2.05a codec

FYI, "v2.05a" stands for version number of the WAV decoder plugin and has nothing to do with codecs.
This file appears to use some strange rare codec; if you want more help - either ask the person who created those files or post one of them so we can examine it.

it is ok
i sorted out the problem
the wav file is some MI-SC4 file
and my computer doesn't supprt it
however it does supprt true speech
so i used yepp explorer software to convert the MI-SC4 file into a true speech file
so now it runs in winamp!
