windows media player...boo!
 

hey wzp guys...has anyone noticed that the SRS wow effects on windows media player sound a lot better than winamp! i hate this b/c i love winamp, but when i play my songs on winamp3 the sound has a lot less depth to it. does anyone know how to adjust winamp to play with a bit more depth? thanks

Yeah, I do kinda like the SRS WOW Effects. It freaks the shit outa my speakers. :D

I love the SRS WOW!!!!

I admit to using both Winamp 2 (speed and less RAM uasge) and Windows Media Player but my speakers really make some songs sound way better with SRS

heres a tip if you want to get the same sound out of winamp especially if you have cheaper speakers.( and I dont mean any offence by that, some can't afford hand built jobs or good one's)
o.k. heres the tip: source some plaster board. Most decent builders providers have it .the best is the half inch. carefully open your speaker cabinits and fit the plaster board on all sides top and bottom and don't forget the back, stuff plenty of wadding in there .close your cabinet.Result one wicked bass sound ,very deep but clear.bass with guts I call ,it works, I have it in my 100watt bass drivers . Then windows media can go suck exhaust pipes for all the use it is .
