Led Zeppelin skin
 

Maybe its just me, but isn't it time that someone made a real SOLID Zeppelin skin? I have no talent, but for all you hard core Zep fans out there with the skills, its just something to think about.....of couse any Zeppelin skin any less than amazing would be a discrace, so unless you're serious, don't bother.

There's a surprising lack of quality skins for very many things. It just occured to me a few days ago (and so I checked) that there are no decent Asterix skins - what the fux going on?!

It might even have to be one of my next skinning projects. But as for Led Zep, sorry, if winamp skins existed 7 or so years ago, and I knew how to make them, I would've been your man, but I'm not such a big fan anymore.

An Astérix skin? That sounds good and funny. Want a collab? ;)

I'm sure we could come up with cool button/slider ideas for 5 skins! :)

I was seriously plotting out some Asterix skins about 6 months ago (with matching wallpapers!) and went so far as to spend an entire day scanning my Asterix collection. However, when searching the 'net, I found that any Asterix fan site displaying Asterix images were promptly shut down or forced to remove them. That kind of put me off the idea, but maybe I should reconsider.

And if I don't, I'd love to see a db/Jellby Asterix collab! :up: :up:

if i put the lcd metal and circuit board on hold

and double time the concept i have for the winter skin contest

and can come up with a decent layout for the pics/ album art of zep i do have

and i go buy a scanner (or if santa brings me one)

and i quit working 10 hrs a day 2 hrs from home

i may be able to have one ready by the next equinox

but its a real good idea that i just may try my hand at in 2003

i think the art work from pink floyds the wall could make a great skin too

Why? Their CD covers are no doubt available on the net - do a scan for "cd covers" on google

It's sad about the Asterix fan sites - ripping images off a fan site is just plain stupidity and paranoia :hang:
It probably wouldn't stop me though.
