Thats it im fed up! i cant do all these fancy graphics (yet, workin on it) si im gonna go with what i know so my next skin will be a D&D skin more info later :)

if working with something you're comfortable with prevents getting frustrated, by all means... but don't get too frustrated too fast, graphics just take time and patience seeing what works and what just doesn't, so don't get discouraged, most of what I learned, I learned by first applying a style, seeing what it did, and trying to paint and blend to make a similar effect, and I'm still working on it. Tutorials can help, but I confess I haven't used many, though I needed it desperately when trying to make glass, then I wasn't happy with it, too transparent, so refined it a bit, it's easier to refine something after the basics though, so, DON'T GIVE UP!

yea my bigest problem is finding a tut to teach me a few good ways to do metal :weird:

you use PSP or photoshop or what? In the tipd and tricks, there were some good tuts listed I *think* and if not, there's some standards ones I'm sure everyone will link (inflate post count) with!

I use both prefereble psp7 but hey i went through most of the tuts that were listed the other day on the lum prev thread but other then some objects and etc (which were helpful) i didint really find what i wanted im looking for a way to do a nice flat metal texture

Well i was about to start work on the D&D skin but i had a tiny idea tell me what ya think its pretty much just a background right now

a few small changes i think im gonna have fun later when it comes to getting all the bugs out :)

minor updates again i also did some of the EQ

the metal texture looks pretty good, but PLEASE dont make the buttons and display areas so square ;)

ill see what i can do but i kinda suck with this stuff right now and im short on ideas as always

hmm do u think some whare down the line this will be any better? (ill include buttons later after i make em)

i made a few mistakes that ruined the Below so just take alook tell me how it looks and hopefully i dont make the same (although not very visible Down there there) mistakes on the next try

that metal texture looks too blocky, looks like it needs some blur or something.

ill keep that in mind when i redo the texture later

I know what you mean I suck at fancy graphics too, that's why I only make picture skins, or at least I used to make them, can't seem to commit to skinning at the moment. Anywho my point is if even you're not good at graphix, you can still make killer skins, I've become quite good at cutting and pasting :D

Dont get disheartened so fast Krynis. You cant really get good at graphics in a few days. It takes time, patience and a lot of work.

Hehe yo you guys take what i say to hard its mostly bs i get cranky you know a little weird ya im stuck on skin lovin its funny cuz im a lover anyway not fighter heh i have learned some cool $hit here in the last while its nifty or somethin i dont know maybe im not so great at graphics yet but i know it takes time and u gotta admit im persistent im still here arent i?
