since i'm not able to make winamp skins myself, if i give someone a picture will they do it for me please? i would really appreciate it

and if you want a skin just for lil you with just a nice picture, I would suggest a skinner program.

i've dled a bunch of skin makers and none of them ever worked i think it might be b/c my computer can't hold them or something but i don't know none of them worked

yea but that got deleted b/c my dad went thru and deleted all my pics but i wanted another one of a diff pic to see how it looked

:weird: It doesn't matter. Just run the pic through one of those skinner.exe programs ( :hang: ) and out comes a "skin", for a lack of a better term.

just download the damn program and make your own skin. if you're too lazy to do that, then we'll be too lazy to help again.

Actually, I still had the other one on my HDD till a few days ago. I remember deleting it from my recycle bin recently.

With one of my wonderful foresights:

It would look like shit. That pic is too big to fit perfectly into a Winamp skin. It would look stretched and skewed, and then the buttons with the cheap skinner.exe bevels would screw it all up, along with the time/vis display, and text.

Then again, it's not long enough to fit into the three main windows of Winamp, so that'll contribute, too.

Picture skins just don't work unless you make them yourself, and how can none of the programs you download not work? Obviously you're doing something wrong. Explain the problem and we'll try to help you make your own skin.

yeh, the SA of Sarah would be obscured by the visualsation area, and the "I need you" and "You are the one that I adore" would be all but totally covered up by the EQ bars.

But I'm sure that you could do something similar which avoided these problems. Just take a look at any skin, and have a look at the parts which are obviously going to cover up your design, such as the visualisation area, the EQ bars, the scrolling-text area, etc. and draw it again so that the bits you want to show through in the skin won't be obliterated by those parts. :)
