I have another little problem guys!

Today my sisters came to visit and they did something to my Winamp. When I came back the skins were changed and now when I press the right button on an mp3 instead of saying enqueue in Winamp it says INSTALL as a first option, and when I press over the icons the Winamp dissapears for a second and appears again, but nothing plays!!(like if it would be changing the skin)

If somebody could give me a hand it would be great!

(All the right media on the preferences are chosen)

Hmm, weird.

1. Go to Winamp3 -> Prefs -> Media
2. Checkmark "register files on Winamp start"
3. Make a note of all extensions selected
4. Now click "None" button
5. Close Prefs, close WA3
6. Reopen WA3, repeat step 1.
7. Reselect all the extensions from step 3.
WAL (Winamp3 skin), MP3, M3U, PLS, NSV, B4S are all recommended,
plus any others of your choice.
8. Close Prefs, close WA3, reopen WA3

Any joy?

When everything's working ok again, go back into Prefs
and uncheck "register files on Winamp start".

[EDIT]
Hang on a mo, we've been thru all this before
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=119150

Back soon . . .

in the meantime, tell me what your Windows OS is
so I can give exact instructions how to fix this via Windows Folder Options.

[EDIT2]
Okay, it's 2.45am where I am, can't wait any longer, so I'll post the instructions now.

My Computer -> Tools menu (WinME/2k/XP) / View Menu (Win9x)
Folder Options -> File Types tab
WinME/2k/XP: Scroll down for and hi-lite MP3 -> click "Advanced"
Win9x: Scroll down for and hi-lite Winamp Media File (MP3, etc) -> Click "Edit"
Under Actions, hi-lite "Play in Winamp" -> click "set default"
Also, click "Edit" button and make sure the app used command line is:
"C:\PROGRAM FILES\WINAMP3\STUDIO.EXE" "%1"

(note: quotation marks are required in the command line, as above, and if you installed WA3 to a different dir then naturally you need to edit the path accordingly).
