What is your screen resolution?

I use 1024x768, which is perfect for 17 inch monitors. Once I get my 21 inch I might use 1600x1200. :)

blumoon11 8th January 2003 00:49

I have a lap top and that is all I know about it :) :p

thepyr0x 8th January 2003 01:07

I use 1280x1024
it's not there tho
gotta love the 19"

Digipak 8th January 2003 01:49

1024x768 on 17".

KelseyB 8th January 2003 01:55

yeah, 1034 x 768 is great on 17" monitors, if i get a 19"er, i figure ill up it a level or two

Jay 8th January 2003 01:57

800x600 15" monitors and a laptop.

the road guy 8th January 2003 01:58

1600 X 1200 on a 19" flat screen..........print is a little small, but it still looks good

GoldenSphynx 8th January 2003 02:04

the same. it's by far the best on 17-inch monitors.

RanDom_ErrOr 8th January 2003 02:18

1600x1200 on a 19 in Dell 1226H monitor @ 75Hz

zootm 8th January 2003 02:20

if you're gonna be pedantic and post frequencies and monitor models...

i'm on an iiyama vision master 17 at 85 Hz.

MetallichicA 8th January 2003 03:03

1600x1200 on a Sony 21"

Actually, I also use 1600x1200 on the 19" at work, but it's a little small. Only way I can see an entire newspaper page at once on Quark, though.

sgtfuzzbubble011 8th January 2003 03:09

I'm running 1024x768 on a CTX 17" monitor. Works great for me. :)

DJ Shredder 8th January 2003 03:11

You left out 1152x864 in your poll... I'm using that on a 17" monitor with 85 Hz refresh rate.

tiger84 8th January 2003 03:29

I'm just a little odd at 1280x1024 on a 15" Sony Trinitron...and the refresh rate, well, lets just say I don't care enough to know it or look it up.

meaisl8again 8th January 2003 03:37

1152 x 864 but that wasn't an option, so I picked the next closest in my mind ;), which was 1024 one.

Lots of love,
Mea

sgtfuzzbubble011 8th January 2003 03:41

It's an option now. Anyone want to change their vote? :)

meaisl8again 8th January 2003 04:25

I would if I could, but I already voted... :)

Lots of love,
Mea

1024*768 on my 15" CRT. Highest resolution to achieve 85 Hz refresh rate.

Mr. 75MHz 8th January 2003 08:33

my resulution is 800 X 600 85 Hertz I can go up to 1280X1024 but the refresh rate is very poor 43 Hertz it does your head in :igor: my monitor is only a cheep 14in so you can't blame it for stuggling at high resulutions

will 8th January 2003 08:44

[09:40] <will> screen[1280x1024 32bit 60Hz]

fwgx 8th January 2003 08:59

1280 x 1024 on a 17" LG monitor, I don't know about at work, but it's a nice 20/21" monitor I think.

Is this to do with having themes that use 100% screen width on the forums? I think that was mentioned a while ago.

Atmo 8th January 2003 09:07

Will:Give 1280x960 a shot, you'll lose a few vertical pixels, but you should be able to run it at a higher refresh (most likely 72hz if you can run 1280x1024@60), and you'll also have the correct 1.33:1 aspect ratio. 1280x1024 is 1.25:1.

If its an lcd where 1280x1024 is the optimum res ignore this post...

60Hz = brain strain - to the max!

cooky560 8th January 2003 14:04

I use 1600 x 1200 @ 32bit colour @ 60Hz on a Philips 21"

capitan3 8th January 2003 14:14

I usually use 1024x768 but sometimes it gets to small so i chang it to
800x600, and a laptop.

Will uses an LCD - refresh rate doesn't count. Bastard ;).

2560x1024 32bit 85Hz for me :). Multi monitors. mmmmm (19" flatscreen and 21" trinitron).

Agreed :D

james 9th January 2003 00:37

1280*1024 @ 140Hz on a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 740SB.

And the aspect ratio looks perfect at 1.25 but not at 1.33. :weird:

jon_joy_1999 10th January 2003 14:21

I have 1600x1200 on a 17 inch monitor. why? you may ask. because it's frikkin cool. I have a 5up3r1337 prog for my Vidcard that lets me fine tune the H-rez, V-rez, and Refresh Rate. (it's a custom rig and I have no clue as to where I got the parts from)

AjStone 10th January 2003 15:17

1074x768 on all 3 of my 15" :p

j0ck3 10th January 2003 15:57

1280*1024 @ 17"
