OK. Very tricky, but here goes...
First, create ONE big playlist with all the songs you have. Next, download and install the Playlist Guardian [Component ID: 124460]. It will create an HTML Playlist for you in Winamp3 when you right-click on the Playlist Name in the sidecar of the Playlist Editor and select "Generate HTML playlist". The playlist that is generated should auto-open in your Internet Explorer browser. If it doesn't, open it yourself through your IE browser. Next, with the browser open and showing the HTML Playlist, click "File" (on top of browser window) then "Save As". In the resulting "Save Web Page" dialog box, use the dropdown to the right of "Save as type", and select Text File (*.txt). Now, this will NOT generate a Word Document file... just a simple text file, displaying the entire Playlist. All you have to do at this point is open Microsoft Word, and copy-n-paste the contents of the text file into it. Then go ahead and save it as a Word document. Here is an example of the Playlist Guardian HTML Playlist output on a very short playlist... Small HTML playlist This is the SAME short playlist I linked to directly above, but is the actual text file generated in the IE browser, when you saved as type Text File (*.txt), and what you would copy into MS Word... As you can see, the above text file is not quite the same as the HTML Playlist page, but it would only require minimal editing by you in MS Word to make any small changes necessary.code: ALSO... why a Word Document anyway? What's wrong with the HTML Playlist file generated by Playlist Guardian? Everybody has a browser to view it in. ;) |
Thanks man!!!!
