maybe a good idea? tell me what you think
hey you guys. do you think it would be a good idea to place an alarm clock into winamp using an addon or it being built into winamp by default??? :)

Rather it's a "Good Idea" Or not just depends on the user who's using it. A good concept, I think so, but I can't help but wonder how much memory or space a plug-in like that would work, or slow down everything else. Sounds like a plan, because if you think you're going to use it, you can always download it anyways, not like it comes default. Maybe make it so that it plays a certain song, or just starts playing music, stops playing music, or just sets off this REALLY Annoying buzzer. Of course you;d have to make it easy to set, you wouldn't want it going off after you already needed it, so it couldn't be impossible to get to and reset, set again, cut on, or cut off, but what do I know?

ones exist. hell, i use one, it woke me up this morning (with incubus - 11am...how appropriate except for the fact that it was 7:40). look in the components section (for winamp3, i don't know about winamp2)

There is one for WA2, I've used it before. What is better though is to turn you PC off but change the BIOS settings to turn the computer on at a certain time and put a WA playlist in the startup group with the auto play option. Then WA will load up and start playing, enable shuffle and you'll get a random song from your playlist each time.
