Help with the media library...
 

This damn thing is pissing me off. If I _select_ a group of files, right click on one of them and click "Play In Winamp", the group gets played and it is great. But after they are loaded into the media library, it no longer works like that. Now only one of them gets played. Is there a way to disable the media library so I can play groups like I like too?

you can turn off the media library and use the playlist editor

add--> files --> (select the files) -->open

should work like winamp2

Or you can do what I did. Re-install Winamp3 but WITHOUT the Media Library.

If you want to do that then do it this way...

1. First, copy/save all your skins in the Winamp\Skins folder to a temp location
2. Completely uninstall Winamp3 via Start > Programs > Add/Remove Programs
3. Completely delete the Winamp3 folder and all folders within
4. Reinstall the latest public release of Winamp3, but make sure you do NOT install Media Library. Uncheck it. (see attached screenshot - nomedialibrary.gif)
5. Download/install the wa3update patch
6. Move all your saved skins from the temp location back into the Winamp3\Skins folder
7. Start up Winamp3 without Media Library support
