à á ì í ò ó è é ù ú - Is my problem!

Hello Everyone,


Thanks to the wonderfull XML parsers that are on the net I now use a database in combination with the output from shoutcast to show extra information about the songs. The problem I now have is with these kind of characters à á ì í ò ó è é ù ú. All these characters are translated into the same XML code --> &#xFF_; (without the underscore) so a simpel str_replace wont help me anymore. In e.g. IE this &#xFF becomes a ÿ. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
