Needing Guidance
 

Hello, I have a few problems here and I was wondering if anyone could help me with them. Okay first off:

- I have my server up but i get an error with the following message:
"<01/28/03@10:03:41> [yp_add] error connecting to yp.shoutcast.com"

Second thing i was wondering about (because i just recently started getting that error above.

For some reason, when i use my public IP (my computer one) it doesnt work. But if i use my router ip (a 192. ip) then it works, but only for me and other people on my same router. So how would i fix it so people outside of my router can tune in and listen?

what is the external ip of the router? that is what you will need to connect to the shoutcast server. use www.whatismyipaddress.com to find out.

inside the LAN just use your internal IP.

Yea, i know my IP but for some reason it doesnt work and now i get that [yp_add] error connecting to yp.shoutcast.com - error, and i dont know what caused that, i never got it before.

Is there more information after the [yp_add] error connecting to yp.shoutcast.com - error in the DNAS log?
