Here's a glimpse of stansardframe-- it's not done, but this is basically what it'll look like when it's done. iPlaythespoons has about 80% of it coded. I have to say I'm amazed at how he made the gradients stretch like that, so that you could extend the windows any size you wanted and the gradients would stretch to fit the size! :)

I tried the beta today...and things are cool so far! :up: except for the modeswitch bug. NOW...Am I the only one who thinks the speaker beat detection anim looks "like crap" (less harsh.."unrealistic")? they don't look like "pumping" at all with the effect only being a simple scale change of the centerpart of each speaker. The whole cone should be "moving" and blur a bit imo.

Look at Vica's "boombox" mode of his most excellent Nebular skin - now that's more like it I think. Just a suggestion...nothing serious.

standard frame looks ok to me..but I find it funny that you mention the gradient "issue" RLF because NOTHING on that std. frame would cause seamproblems in the first place. The key parts are as seamless as they get ;)

But yeah, just because the speaker anims don't look gorgeous doesn't mean you have to say they look 'like crap'. I might redo the 7 pngs, I don't know.. I admit they do look odd. For some reason when I used the liquify tool, it only enlarged the top left part, not all of it... which made it look off.

i think it would be cool to learn how to use liquify to make speakers, but do what u want. it would also help for tehre to be less shitty looking speakers out there. :)

I don't know if anyone said this, but in the stick mode, the Play/Pause button is always Play. You should turn it to Pause while a song is playing.

Edit: I just noticed it's only a Play button. Make it a Play/Pause button in that case. :P

unfortunately the 'cabinets' look like they're turned away from the skin a little... but the animation comes straight out towards ya....

A bit dissapointed, i dont see the Bass & Treble change wheels on the bottom of the skin. I've downloaded the newest version but i just dont see em. Is the picture wrong or what ?
