What the ********** is wrong?!
I'm running my shoutcast server for a while and everything's working just fine... But sice a few weeks I got DSL internet, so I thought I just had to change the ip (in myip:8000/listen.pls). But when I did that and tried to run the server again, it won't work! Someone knows the problem of this?

Please define: won't work
Any erors in the DNAS log? Also, machines on the same lan as the DNAS (you) need to use the lan ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. Machines not on the same lan as the DNAS (the rest of the world) need to use the real, world-visible ip of the DNAS to connect/listen. |
There is some error in the logfile that says:
<02/01/03@11:23:21> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak) <02/01/03@11:23:21> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 62.166.80.91:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection timed out)) But I don't have a firewall or something like that, and afterall it did work with the same progs when I had the 56k internet. Someone got an idea of what to do?! |
Are the necessary ports open in your firewall and are they being forwarded to the DNAS machine?
