My server isent live!

Ok everyone I set up my server and strated to play music and stuff then when i try to connect on the same computer as the server just to listen to see if its working its not live! It will start at the start of the song yet it will be half done on the server! Whats going on?

LIVE != real time

shoutcast is not realtime but you can be live.
