Problems with Real Player

My daughter is for some strange reason a fan of real player. I prefer winamp but am finding problems with real player taking over my computer. Can i alter anything so that i can use winamp without upsetting my daughter by removing her real player? Even if i try to access streaming audio via the winamp web site real player cuts in.
Can ayone help?

tell your daughter to get a life and not use realbad player.

just joking

turn off the realone icon in the system tray, also go to prefrences and disable all associations with files. Turn on the Winamp Agent so that it keeps all file associations with winamp.

I did all except the system tray part because I try to keep that as empty as possible and had previously removed it.
My daughter now agrees that Winamp is better than real(bad) player!
