source (input) selector plugin?
 

Greets,

Does anyone know if there is a plugin to easiy select between audio sources, i.e. Line-In, CDROM, etc.?

If there isn't one already developed, does anyone else think the following features would be valuable?

1. A small "box" with an array of source buttons, similar to what you woud have on a stereo preamp.
2. The source buttons woud be user-definable based on what input plugins are installed. User-definable labels/icons woud be great, too.
3. Skinnable (of course :-)

I started looking for this plugin after I installed the CD Reader, Line-In, and White Noise Generator input plugins. It would be hepful if I was able to individually activate/deactivate them, and to have an easy way to see which plugin is currently in use.

I hope that enough of you will agree with me to motivate some talented person out there to work on this.
