how to play the music from the ftp
 

Hey guys i wanna find out somthing if sombody can please help me that will be good how do you play music from ftp? :(

? FTP?? you mean you have an ftp server that you want to connect to and play mp3s from? or you want to put your music on an ftp server?,, if you simply want to play an mp3 from somones ftp site, then you make a new connection with your network places to that ftp site, or(through IE) type the ftp addres is the URl field of your browser, then open the ftp site, then just click on the mp3 file, you will either start to play it or your pc will ask you if you should save it,,,

if you don't have telnet or SSH access to the ftp server you have no chance of streaming them. if you dont have full access to this server -- there are only a couple services that will stream songs you ftp up to them -- streamguys is one of them. i am starting a similar service at less than half the cost and plan to take on some beta testers in a few weeks (for free of course).
