shoutcast DSP 1.8.2b installation troubles
 

I've searched all over the forums for an answer to this but didn't find it anywhere. I'm trying to install the latest version of the shoucast DSP plugin on the latest release of the 2.x version of winamp. I've installed and reinstalled and get the same thing every time. I'll install the plugin from the installer, open up winamp to configure the plugin and the title of the plugin is a bunch of garbage text. When I highlight what should be the DSP plugin, and error window pops up stating "error loading module." Can someone please tell me what's happening and hopefully how to get the plugin to work? I will be forever in debt to you.

Windows 95? SHOUTcast isn't compatable with Windows 95. You need Windows 98 or later.

I beg to differ. Before I upgraded my computer to a 1.7GHZ Windows XP system, I was running Win 95, and I had no trouble whatsoever with shoutcast. Now that might be the problem on his system, but it was never a problem with mine. Gimme the stats of your system.

I.E. Mghz, RAM, etc....
