Ok,
Now I get Cannot see your station at IP.Ip.IP.IP (with the actual IP in) So, I change the DestIp to the IP it gives there and then I get a fatal error saying some other process is using that port. Note the IP its giving doesn't seem to match the IP I use normally and register with the firewall at work for me to dial in from home. Any idea? |

The DNAS tells the SHOUTcast yp (yellow pages) that you are streaming. The yp, in turn, verifies your stream. In your case, the yp cannot connect to your stream to verify so you will not be listed in the SHOUTcast yp directory at http://www.shoutcast.com nor is it likely other folks will be able to connect/listen. Are the necessary ports open in your firewall and are they being forwarded to the DNAS machine? Check out http://www.radiotoolbox.com/cantheygetin and see if the reported information there helps. Additionally, check out these posts: http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=116786 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=112997 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=112923 |
Reason Given: Connection refused
More about this error: This essentially means that the port is open to the internet but has no services associated with it. There is no firewall protection on this port. Hmm.... ok how do I associate it with the service? I'm running both the source and server on the same machine. |
bingo one of those posts did it
