Are you beind a router? Make sure that you have ports 8000 and 8001 (assuming u have it set up with the deafault ports) forwarded to your pc

It should be noted that you only need to forward PortBase+1 (by default 8001) if you plan on having the source outside of your LAN.

forward portbase if you want any listeners. forward portbase+1 too if you source outside your lan.
