That sounds like a good idea Binary, except the fact that I don't use litestep. But, I'm sure you are equally adept @ doing this. What would you need in the way of graphics etc?

Pretty sweet looking.... all of it. The skin came together quite nicely and the giant circle/X in the middle of the Main is fantastic (I like how it centers on the open button). I'm glad you decided to change the colour of the playlist from grey to blue. The only thing that bothers me is how the numbers/vis backgound is a lighter shade of blue than everything else. If that lighter shade were elsewhere on the skin, I think it would be alright, but as it stands now, it looks a bit mistake-ish.

I'm not usually a fan of metal/chrome skins, but I find this one quite aesthetically pleasing. Maybe it's all the blue in it. :p :up: :)

a psd of a screen layout (800x600, but tileable up to 1600x1200). you can have pretty much anything you want on it in the way of functionality. take a look at the themes at http://www.lsthemes.com/ for an idea of what can be put in, and layouts. bear in mind that it has to be usable AND look good. you'll also need to do graphics for a popup menu (litestep's start menu). these consist of a top, a bottom, a background and a spacer.

before you start though, i would reccoment a quick download and play about with litestep (even temporarily). see http://www.beyondconvention.net/ohussain/ (if you are running xp/2k, i suggest setting up a new admin account to install it under).

unfortunatley, there seems to be a bit of a lack of graphically fantastic ls themes around that have functionality too. many of them just end up putting crap all over the place that doesn't do anything, and a theme in the style of the rest of your stuff could change all that :)

[edit]had another look at your sysmetrix skin, should be able to port all of that over no problem, except for the recycle bin bit (but that could be changed into anything).

now, i coulda sworn i had an analogue clock module round here somewhere...

The sysMetrix skin was just completed...so, sure use it.

Got my new car and I'm jazzed...I will be creating a website for it...and what I'm doing to it. Until then feast your eyes upon my shark.
