external track number display
 

As part of a university project, I am interfacing an audio system with winamp.
I am using a combination of Griffin Technologies powermate controller and one that I made up from the com-port plugin tutorial.

I would also like to be able to output the track number and volume level using 7 segment displays and an increasing number of illuminated leds as volume increases.

Are there any plugins that exist to enable the output of track number/ volume level with externel electronics?

Any suggestions gratefully recieved
