reccomendations

ok, i don't visit this strange forum of yours much (if at all). but basically, when i am reviewing skins, i need to have the avs window open. not a problem there, but i wouldn't mind something nice to look at whilst it's open. any reccomendations (if it helps, i like elvis's stuff that comes with the standard wa2 install).

Tuggummi 27th March 2003 12:03

Whacko AVS is great,
Skupers is good also,
Degnic has some kick ass color manipulations,
Jheriko has some awesome scopes,
Zevensoft makes just pure beauty,
Nemoorange makes very stylish presets,
And i make what ever i like :p

Don't have the time to give any actual links now, someone other most likely will give ya them. But those are the names i recommend, the finding part is up to you :)

Yathosho 27th March 2003 12:58

check the guys from Finnish Flash and VISBOT

Raz 27th March 2003 13:21

UnConeD - Whacko AVS 5
UnConeD - Whacko AVS 6
Fsk - Pickin Dim 3
Tuggummi - Innovation
Jheriko - J7
El-Vis - History

i think that should give you some eye candy whilst reviewing ;)

dirkdeftly 27th March 2003 18:54

nobody mentioned me ;(

and visbot only has one pack out, and it doesn't demonstrate any of the artists' skills. also...their installer, like avsociety's and YATHOSO'S screws up vis_avs.dat, whether i uncheck "change settings, blablabla" or not, so be careful with that...

14-year old boy atero sucks so much, he does not even publish his presets on winamp.com, i guess he fears possible bad ratings. damn, i'm lucky he won't get forum moderator (way too unmature!). deal with your complexes, don't curse on everybody who's cooler than you, nerd.

anubis2003 27th March 2003 19:46

http://atero.deviantart.com - nice life algorithms
http://anubis2003.deviantart.com - not the greatest, but I like them:p

There are others, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

Phaze1987 27th March 2003 19:54

http://phazey.deviantart.com - just to make some more publicity on my site :)
finnish-flash presets - eye candy
http://duo.deviantart.com - this dude rocks ! :) amazing stuff

daftcunt : please dont start another argue ! we already have enough...
Oh and cute avatar :)

anubis2003 27th March 2003 19:58

Yeah, I didn't read daftcunt's reply when I came in here.

That has no meaning at all in this thread and is only flaming Atero. I would suggest editing the message so that it no longer says that. We have enough flame wars going on already.

Raz 27th March 2003 20:03

daftcunt: It's immature not "unmature" which is completely hypocritical in itself because your flame towards him was immature. If you have no purpose here other than to flame people then please leave and never come back. This forum doesn't need another pointless user causing flame wars.

daftcunt 27th March 2003 20:24

thanks for civilizing me, mister.

Pixelcraft 27th March 2003 22:27

Here's a preset I made the other day, I want to show you it because I like showing people presets who don't know much about AVS, and because I want to take this opportunity to show my recent work! Thanks man, I like you!

People say I need reactivity in my presets :igor: this should do the trick :D

anubis2003 27th March 2003 22:47

Where is it?

Raz 27th March 2003 23:06

I am so sick of seeing these posts advertising presets and then another one after a few irritated posts from other users giving you the presets. Are people that stupid that they type a description of the thing they've made and then straight after describing it forget what their original goal was, to upload the preset.

anubis2003 27th March 2003 23:11

Um, I've seen you do it as well raz.

Raz 27th March 2003 23:24

i seem to recollect doing it about once, about 2 months ago. I'm talking recently.

shreyas_potnis 28th March 2003 04:38

and me? I like my presets...Links in my signature :D

NO, NO, NO! Why everyone recommends that pack! It's crap, it's the most shittiest piece of work i have ever done, it only has 1-3 good presets, but the rest is crap crap crap. Gaagh i hate everyone who likes the pack

Download Tuggummi - Technically Incorrect Instead! :)

anubis2003 28th March 2003 10:49

How can you say innovation was crap? It was... well, innovating!
Technically Correct is also a good pack.

Tuggummi 28th March 2003 10:55

Innovating my ass :p
Ok maybe it's not total crap (60 000 flies can't be wrong eeh?), but still i don't like how it has got way too much attention comparing to other much better packs (not talking about my own packs).

Pixelcraft 28th March 2003 13:16

What the hell? I did upload it! Where did it go? I think my connection screwed up or something.... My ISP sucks....

Okay it better work this time :hang:

skupers 28th March 2003 14:15

Don't you just love shameless self-promotion and insulting posts?

binary hero 30th March 2003 22:20

tuggumi - that pack you pointed out is fantastic.

(most of the other stuff is great and all, but tuggumi just beats you all...sorry ;))

dirkdeftly 31st March 2003 06:08

daftcunt...seriously...what the hell?

but as long as we're at it, don't make assumptions about people you don't know. i don't publish on winamp cos i get errors when i try to upload, and i've got better things to do than talking to mods that aren't always on about fixing it. and why in god's name did you sign up just to flame me about how much i "flame" people? must i remind you...i've flamed TWO people in the last several MONTHS...*ahem* get a life.

p.s....what, specifically, have i done to you? like, ever?

Tuggummi 31st March 2003 06:37

Thanks binary hero, hearing good comments always warms my heart :)
