shoutcasting remote installation
 

k guyz i installed the shoutcast server on a windows machine ... but i want to install it as a service... so i need the service name of shoutcast server to use " net start xxxx "

What version of windows?

Check out the results from a SHOUTcast forum search on 'install windows service'.

Look for a post by antiorganic titled:
NT Service

Note: Other search criteria may yield more results.

hm nothing found i am needing only the servicename of shoutcast server to start the server over telnet like " net start servicename " .. only the name is that too much i think u are admins ? ;>

You need to install it as a service first, eh?

No service -> no net start

FYI: I've never installed a DNAS as a service nor started it remotely from a service. Further assistance, if necessary, may come from somebody more knowledgable in this area.
