Crossfader for WINAMP 2
 

I would like to see a crossfading option for WINAMP 2 similar to the one in WINAMP 3.:)

Winamp 2.X has a cross-fader

Preferences (Ctrl-P) > Plug-ins > Output > Select "DirectSound" > Hit Configure > Fading Tab

Would be nice with more options for it though... and a button/menu-option to turn it on and off quickly.
I mean, I always have fade on pause/stop and on seek on, but only use "crossfading" when listening in Shuffle mode... It's annoying to have to go into the DS options to turn it on and off.

I agree, the crossfader is too tucked away, I dare say it needs it's own WinAmp window panel thing, so it'd be easy to adjust it without going through the trouble, another DJ`ing plus I might add.

maybe in the menu...but not in the default skin, could cause alot of compatability problems.

Why would it cause compatability problems

If you change the layout of the default skin you break the thousands upon thousands of Winamp 2.X skins out there already.
