MPEG 2/2.5/3 audio layer 3 mp3 files dont play

i recently updated to the latest full version of winamp 2.91...but i was shocked that some files which worked with my older winamp version didnt play on this new version which are

MPEG 1 layer 3 mp3
MPEG 2 layer 3 mp3
MPEG 2.5 layer 3 mp3
MPEG 1 layer 3 mp3

i chk the version of the mpeg coding...with one software it says to be MPEG 2 layer 3 encoding...and with file info using winamp it says mpeg1 layer 1 mp3....

i dont understand whats hapenning....i also tried configuring in_mp3.dll but that didnt help.

Finally searching through all forum and spending slepless nights i come accros one link and that soloved the problem

So plz if u have this problem dont forget to download this decoder...

They work fine. You probally have some bad third party decoder. Compleatly uninstall and reinstall Winamp.

well i had tried all that thing..uninstalling and reinstalling..but that didnt helped me...only stuff that solved the proble was that

MP3Pro Decoder Plugin..

After i install this plugin all files start playing properly..
