customizable song ticker
 

is there a way to customize the information that is displayed in the winamp2 song ticker (song name scroller thingy)? personally i'd like to get it displaying the id3 comment field in brackets ala winamp3.

i'm guessing someone must have already made a plugin for this so i'm posting here instead of in the wishlist forum

it displays whatever you set as title formatting for the playlist, for mp3s that would be at: ctrl+p > preferences > plugins > input > nullsoft mpeg audio decoder > title

just one thing though... is there a way to only display something if a tag exists?

eg, i'd like to display the comment info in brackets after the song name but if there is no comment then i'd rather the brackets didnt appear

that's only possible with in_vorbis: $if2('['%comment%']',)
impossible with in_mp3
