WINAMP.COM | Forums > SHOUTcast > SHOUTcast Technical Support > Having troubles

See the first word...it says winamp. I could see you being difficult if I was asking about trouble shooting an adobe product or whatever.

But since this is under winamp.com forums do you think you could answer the question?

It is probably something pathetically easy I'm overlooking.

Do you have to answer me with an attitude "um ah well er duh?"
(Please answer the first question, not this last one, it is rhetorical.

Thank you very much for your advice!!!!

You realize that being a smartass makes people less inclined to help you... for no less. The point that the other person was making (DJsomething? srry forgot) was that this forum is for troubleshooting SHOUTcast the streaming audio server from Nullsoft and not the Winamp player. Ask you question in WINAMP.COM | Forums > Winamp 2 > Winamp 2 Technical Support or the WA3 equivalent.

Don't be so goddamned demanding it makes people less likely to help you, if you're impolite.

Are you asking for help or being an ass?

You want Winamp help...go to the Winamp forum. You want SHOUTcast help...ask in here.

Please give me a break....

Look, I asked a simple question and I get some guy answering " well um der" go to winamp.

If somone answers me back with a condensending tone, I'll answer right back the same way.

Look at my first post. I was 100% polite and respectful!

What did I get in return? A "well er duh um" response!

Just because you guys have more knowledge on this stuff doesn't give you the right to be rude. If you answer that way, you will be answered back that way.

I apologize for my rudenes.

CAn any one answer my original question ...please?
