Strange message on DNAS server

My Shoutcast DNAS server gives me a very strange message sometimes, i would like to know what it means, here it is:

<06/11/03@17:44:45> [yp_tch] yp.shoutcast.com touched!

and it goes on and on...

Could anybody tell me if this strange message is OK or not? And if it is not OK, could anybody help then?

"yp added me" means your station information (station name, bitrate, maximum number listeners, current number listeners, currently playing song, ...) has been added to the SHOUTcast yp (yellow pages) directory.

"yp touched" means your station information (station name, bitrate, maximum number listeners, current number listeners, currently playing song, ...) has been updated in the SHOUTcast yp directory.

It can take up to 15 minutes after the first "yp touched" message before your station appears from a SHOUTcast yp search.

But it says
<06/11/03@17:44:45> [yp_tch] yp.shoutcast.com touched!
almost every second. So there is nothing wrong with that?

Read my reply again.

If you don't like the "yp touched" messages, turn them off.

Check out your DNASs sc_serv.ini/conf configuration file and look for the section (default shown below):
code:
; TchLog decides whether or not the DNAS logfile should track yp
; directory touches. Adds and removes still appear regardless of
; this setting.
; Default is yes
; TchLog=yes

Change "TchLog=yes" to "TchLog=no" (without the quotes), remove the comment designator ( ; ) from the beginning of the line, and restart the DNAS.

Viola! No more yp touches in the log.

As the section states, "Adds and removes still appear regardless of this setting."
