Voice Only. WTF
 

Okay I have been reading/searching faqs and other threads for 3 hours. I am using winamp 2.91 and shoutcast 1.8.2b I also have an external Creative mp3+ soundcard. I only want to use soundcard no switching from winamp and soundcard input. On the soundcard input my voice can be heard with or without pushing talk. its ghetto. no music can be heard. I want to be able to have music in backround while talking and be able to play music normally.

Go back and read more because the answer to this question that has been asked SO many times is there.

Here is a hint...your mixer is not set up properly.

Yea well I dont see the """"In the Recording Mixer select "What U Hear" / "System Mixer" / "Stereo Mixer"""""" I see other thingys such as: SPDIF-IN, Mic, Line In, Wave/MIDI/CD

I really need to start cutting and pasting these answers.

In the DSP, on the Input Tab, On the Recording Panel, Go into Options...Properties...check "What U Hear" / "System Mixer" / "Stereo Mixer"

Make sure "What U Hear" / "System Mixer" / "Stereo Mixer" is selected and not the Microphone.

When is the last time you updated your drivers for your card?

hey it dont work for me either... i dont have "WHAT YOU HEAR" .. can anybody help me pleaseeeee! well i do have in recording mono mix, stereo mix, aux, tv tuner audio, cd player, line in, microphone, phone line.. but no "WHAT YOU HEAR".. the problem is .. people can only hear me and not the songs that im playing but i dont press "push to talk" or "LOCK" ... is there anything i can do to fix it.. or get a new sound card????/
