broadcasting on 56k dial-up

I'm broadcasting on 56k, I need to have a lower bitrate, which is currently 24kbps, and it does not go lower than 24, are there any encoders that go below 24? If so where can I get them?

Use an older version of the shoutcast dsp.

I only got an option for 24 kbpos, and i couldn't even connect...

Did you uninstall before you installed the 1.8.0 dsp?
