The crappiest songs of all time!

I have two I'll add right now :)

Sean Paul - Get Busy

Number 1.

This song is probably the height of mainstream musics crappiness. I mean I almost pissed my pants laughing so hard the first time I heard it. A blind monkey with brain damage could write a song better than this.

On a scale of -100 to 0 I give it a -1000 :)

Number 2.

Chingy - Right Thurr

This song sucks just equally as bad as the first. So no need to waste energy typing a bad review.

On the crapometer it gets a -1000

----

Post your crappiest songs of all time :)

Zylot 13th July 2003 20:56

Rachael Whateverthehell: Not the girl

Nothing sucks more then crappy music being shoved down your throats day afetr day by the theatres you goto to watch your movies. no generic crappy rock band deserves all that attention just cause a girl is singing.

White Raven 14th July 2003 01:02

Yep, I know the feeling... Haven't these assholes sung about hot women or 'bitches' enough? Or money? Or about being black? Or sweaty sex? I'm so sick of hearing it, singing about how they're so rich and hiring whores in their Bentleys. Come up with some new subject matter please. And for fuck's sake, pick a language and sing in it. Jeez... What the fuck is that? Not English, that's for sure.

Idiot's right, baboons with brain hemorrhages could write better songs.

papadoc 14th July 2003 01:13

I know this is gonna sound stupid,
but to me the crappiest song of all time is
The Birthday Song.
You know...the one they sing at your birthday?
For some reason I've always hated that song.

White Raven 14th July 2003 01:52

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR 'whatever'
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...

Yeah that's really gay.. 6 different words in that song.

Mattress 14th July 2003 04:21

"It's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes."

What are we in the 3rd grade here?

ShyShy 14th July 2003 06:13

Ricky Martin: Shake Your BonBon

hell, even the title is retarded... the guy's music is an insult to the latin music community.

Cylob 14th July 2003 09:14

ShyShy, I could've sworn you had a Ricky Martin track on the go. I agree though, it's latino for idiots. I also detest:

All artists who write only love songs.
All artists who don't write their own music or lyrics.
All artists who write only formula music (ie; nu metal).

That's about 80% of all music. Thankfully, there are 1,000s of original artists in the other 20%.

Xerxes 14th July 2003 09:42

Anyone who has been here for at least a year knows which particular songs I have grown to intensely loathe over the years, over all the other drivel.

I must agree with papadoc about the Birthday song- it has a sort of demonic monotony to it.

ShyShy 14th July 2003 18:31

totally agree with idiot's second pick... issaw that video and thught to myself that he's actually going to make money off that shit.

Cylob, i posted that freak's name in band name game, happened to see him on tv at the time.

WomanOfHeart 14th July 2003 19:34

Lucinda Williams - "Righteously"

This woman sounds like a fucking hick trying to sing rock music. I've never heard anything quite so horrible in my life! If her twang is intentional, she should be shot for thinking it sounds good. If it's natural, she should give up singing all together. Either way, it's crap, and whoever thought she had talent is a moron.

ryan 14th July 2003 23:07

Any song by 36 Mafia or any of it's affiliates.. Project Pat...etc...

THEY USE THE SAME DAMNED "TAT" SOUND IN EVERY SONG !!!!

And every song every other word is "bitch, slut, hoe, ass, sex, or nut" and not to forget "weed, crack, joint, doobie, etc etc)

WomanOfHeart 15th July 2003 01:52

Doesn't that describe most rap "music?"

zootm 15th July 2003 01:58

anything by shania twain.

Pixelcraft 15th July 2003 03:33

That one 80's song - "I'm so excited"

I DON'T KNOW WHO WROTE THAT SONG BUT MY GOD DOES SHE NEED HELP. I HATE THAT SONG. I HATE ALL POP SONGS FROM THE 80'S. PEOPLE THOUGHT THEY WERE COOL BACK THEN. THE ACTUALLY LOOKED REALLY STUPID. I DO NOT LIKE THE 80'S.

Mattress 15th July 2003 03:57

Whoa dude, calm down.

Nimelennar 15th July 2003 04:00

anything which mentions the parent record company in the song
*Cough* Ashanti */Cough*

ShyShy 15th July 2003 04:07

Right Said Fred: I'm too Sexy

god... that song is just guranteed to set me off... hate that fucking song, they deserve to burn in hell for making money off that song.

I dislike the music from the era of the 1980's. Is that better?

The thing about Right Said Fred is that all of the other songs on that album were pretty decent love songs, I think I'm Too Sexy was probably a joke to them.

ShyShy 15th July 2003 04:42

ok, i'll give you that much, but i never heard any of their other songs off that album, all i heard was that one. bah.

Cylob 15th July 2003 05:26

I'm Too Sexy! Must acquire that, a contemporary classic. No music collection would be complete without it.

Mr_007 15th July 2003 08:15

Yes is correct!

Cylob 15th July 2003 10:44

You have good taste Mr_007.:)

I mentioned in some other thread that since my G/F moved in with me, my CD collection had doubled in size.....

Anyhow, while chilling out last night, picking random discs to listen to , I spotted Shake your Bonbon among her CD singles, I knew she was a RM fan, but had to give this a spin, seeing as it came so highly recommended....

OH THE HUMANITY !!!!!!!

Eviction proceedings have started this morning heh

j/k

Lucos 15th July 2003 13:24

Fast Food Rockers - Fast Food Song
and anything by the following...

Busted, Gareth Gates and any other Pop Idol Contestants,BLAZIN' SQUAD!!!, and numerous other pop shit acts and "novelty tracks" cramming our charts with drivel.

ryan 16th July 2003 01:55

Whoever the fuck sings that "Get Low" song... jesus fucking christ.. it's been done 4000000 times and the first was lame enough.

Cylob 16th July 2003 05:38

The charts are filled with lame covers of lame songs. It's like bad karaoke.

But I hear primary-age girls like it (and their mums). It's a shame they have access to money.

Mattress 16th July 2003 12:12

It pisses me off when an act's first single released is a cover song. (Alien Ant Farm, Kelly Osbourne, etc.) Those bands shouldn't even get signed IMO. First you should have to make quality original music before you're allowed to cover other people's original music and release it.

That pisses me off no end (the lazy sods)!! Also, I hate it when a cover sounds rather like the original - I mean why not just re-release the original and save a bit of money while you're at it.

I do like covers that are played in a completely different style. You could say (accurately) it's a brand new song. Example - Tainted Love.

Merlin 17th July 2003 14:25

Any version of Unchained Melody, by anyone.

Anything by Kelly Osbourne. Glass breaks and dogs howl when she starts to whine.

Everything so far released by Popstars/Idol contestants, all Spice Girls records and anything they've released on their own, that ridiculous Ketchup song, that ridiculous Fast Food song, the Weather Girls' "It's Raining Men", and the following football chants;
Boing Boing Baggies (sod off!)
Ooh! Aah! Cantona!
He's here, he's there, he's every-fucking-where, Brian McClair, Brian McClair!
Super, Super Leeds, Super, Super Leeds, Super, Super Leeds, Super Leeds United! (wow, that took some thinking didn't it. And Leeds are not super. They're not even alright.)

oh yeah, and Mousse T. vs. Hot n' Juicy - Horny. It's a terrible record, it really is.

Cylob 17th July 2003 14:30

I liked Mousse T. vs. Hot n' Juicy - Horny. Cheers Merlin. Another track for the to-do list.

ryan 17th July 2003 15:46

Good Charlotte... I'll leave it at that.

Heh...I was at Pacsun once, and one of the workers cranked up the sound on Jurassic 5 - What's Golden while it was on. When the next song Good Charlotte - The Anthem came on, all the workers started to boo... :D

ryan 18th July 2003 04:15

zootm 18th July 2003 16:03

"crawling" by linkin park really annoys me.

ryan 18th July 2003 20:04

Any song that talks about smoking\toking any of the following "a join" "a doobie" "a blunt" "A bowl" etc etc... That covers 80% of most hip hop now-a-days.

zootm 18th July 2003 20:08

you're thinking of cypress hill. most hip-hop these days is about shooting people, and slapping bitches.
