I have put up a phpBB board. Avatars don't work right now. If anybody has any suggestions or comments please post them here or at my forums. If anybody is interested in being a mod please tell me.

Oh man I got an awesome idea - once you do get avatars, could we make them 100x100 instead of a measly 50x50? I went to a different forum today and they let you do that. Please Please pretty beautiful mega super ultra please?!!??!? :p :D

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that you can now register and no confirmation e-mail is needed. It will show an error after you register but there is nothing wrong. Just press your browser's back button and log in.

The bad news is that if you want an avatar you will need to have it hosted somewhere. Or if you absolutly can't get it hosted you can send it to me and I will add it to the avatar gallery. But if you do that everybody can use it.

hungryskull...is there anyway for you to get rid of the pop ups?

Also, as already stated, you need a few diffrent sections...anything you think is cool since it's your place...maybe a music section sice you proably like music seeing as you are at this forum.

Try putting up a specific forum. It's going to be hard getting people to leave a General Discussion forum to go to another General Discussion forum.

Do you mean free site? I don't think you can get an ad-free free hosting site. I could be wrong.

free and without pop-ups, if possible ad-free but where would you find that?

I haev a code to get rid of the angelfire pop-up. I am pretty sure you could adjust it for whatever siet you use.

www.************* has banner ads, but i think no popups. That's what my site is hosted on (although I'm paying for it) and I've been fairly happy with it. It's a little slow sometimes, but other than that I like it.

try envy.nu or virtue.nu. they are free and ad free....i dont know how they do it, but last i checked, they did

Try invision boards, There a cross breed between phpbb and vbuleting! Plus my research has shown that the features are more like vbulietin, and our also numberus!

I think there may be something wrong with your computer. Because other people are able to register. What happens when you try to register?

Sure. What forums do you want to be mod in and what do you want your CT to be. If you register soon I can probably make you a mod today.

I know a place coming up soon that is definately add free, no pop ups, no rubbish, own log-in, band width allocation, cgi, 2xdata bases, mysql, php support...what more could you want :D
