Can't Figure Out SHOUTcast Server Program
 

Hello,
I want to configure my SHOUTcast Server Program, so I can Use Winamp and the DSP Plugin, too connect to this server and then be able to broadcast my music. I have went into the config ini MANY Times. I can't figure out. PLEASE Someone tell me what too put in the Winamp DSP Plugin and the Config INI

dude all u have to do is look in the sticky posts and it tells u exactl what to do

open the config ini file

set the port u wish to use (leave this as 8000 if u wanna)
scroll down to password where is says CAHNGEME well, do as it says and change it

then scroll down to max listeners and set it to the number of people ur connection can stream to

if u have a 128k upload and ur streaming at 24 k then ur connection can stream to a max of 5 listeners

then on the dsp, if the dsp and the shoutcast server are on the same machien then type "localhost" without the quotes in the ip/address field, put 8000 for the port, and put the password u set

also, make sure u restart the dans server after configuring the ini file
