can default enqueue option be turned off for m3u files?

i reformatted the other day and installed winamp 2.92, after previously using 2.79

i have always liked the 'enqueue as default action' option, as it makes adding files to the playlist much easier - however i have noticed that checking this box seems to affect m3u differently.

if i close winamp, and then click double click on a m3u to play it, winamp has enqueued this playlist to what is already in the playlist.

im guessing this must be some neccesary change that comes with the media library - if so tell me and ill shut up and install 2.79. however i just want to know wether there is anyway to still defaultly enqueue mp3s etc., but have m3us 'refresh' the playlist when they are opened.

thanks in advance for your time
:)

Unselect M3U in Winamp -> Prefs -> Filetypes
Open Windows Media Player (6.4 will do)
Associate M3U with WMP (via WMP Options)
Go to: Windows Folder Options -> File Types tab
Scroll down for M3U
Click Advanced
Where default action = Play, hi-lite "Play", click "Edit" button
Change "Action" to: &Play in Winamp
App used: "C:\Program Files\Winamp\Winamp.exe" "%1"
Assuming you're using WinXP, under DDE, change "Application" to: Winamp

You can also edit the other options in here to your taste
(eg. file description, icon, etc)

Hi

Hmm . . . when/where do you get this error message?
Does this playlist file actually exist?
