GoldenSphynx 27th July 2003 02:30

Any alternative for people on dialup? :blah:

MetallichicA 27th July 2003 02:33

I really, really, really... really... really... hope it's a joke. And not something they show to kids in school or something.

It's a joke...
Right?

<edit> LOL at the end it says "You have permission to copy this video for nonprofit use". How ironic </edit>

DragonSon 27th July 2003 02:40

God I sure do hope so...if the Video Game industry wasted so much money on a crappy commercial like that.....they could've come up with something better.

Psythik 27th July 2003 02:45

looks like a video from the early 90's

BMWboy 27th July 2003 02:50

for the 56Kers, if you want to download it as a file using a download manager, the website is http://static.hugi.is/video/fyndin/dctf-1.wmv seeing as how it is 16MB, I'd just let it download while you sleep.

WHCode RED 27th July 2003 02:55

http://static.hugi.is/video/fyndin/dctf-1.wmv
download using a program like GetRight or DAP...

---
5 minutes later?

guess thats what i get for downloading at the same time...

Cheezychops 27th July 2003 03:34

LOL, /me falls over

It is odd to see that version of neverwinter nights, the new version is full 3d and stuff.

anubis2003 27th July 2003 03:50

lmao, that was long as crap, but pretty funny. Very very cheaply made.

Somone copied that video onto the internet! OMG! Thats piracy! ;)

anubis2003 27th July 2003 05:42

Naw, it says at the end that it can be redistributed.

sgtfuzzbubble011 27th July 2003 06:27

That was almost funny.

Mr_007 27th July 2003 07:08

Like this!
really!

Coman 27th July 2003 14:04

There I just killed 10 minutes of my life.

I copied, copying, and will copy.

I hate the idea of one program per computer, what if you have 2 computers!?! WTF with that!?! Im not gonna buy another cd for the comp in the next room! And if this is a law then my school breaks it!

They purchase site licenses for their school districts. At my school, they ended up blowing a ton of money in site licenses to install Adobe PhotoShop7, Office XP, and Choices 2002. Fun job installing those on over 150 computers in the computer labs.

anubis2003 27th July 2003 17:01

My school just installs those progs on the network drive, so all of the computers can use them and they don't have to install them 200 times.

ryan 27th July 2003 17:08

My school has old computers... with windows98.....

Vie 27th July 2003 17:10

My (old) school uses morons, they dont know how to use them.

anubis2003 27th July 2003 17:12

Neither do the people at my school - they actually came to my comp sci class and had us come and help them several times because they didn't know what they were doing.

Nope. They show it to every sixth grade class at my old middle school. Brings back some memories (not good ones).

Yes, that's a site license, just the network version of it. ;) My school did that for the whole f'ing college campus. Thank god they had uber servers. ;)

Viper007Bond 27th July 2003 22:24

You will burn in hell for making me listen to 80's rap.

mikm 27th July 2003 22:34

You will burn in hell for double-posting :p

Viper007Bond 28th July 2003 01:35

I didn't. The posts were almost 30 minutes apart and were totally non-related, so I felt it should be a new post.
