DSP Plugin?
 

Can anybody recommend a good one? What I really want is to level out the music. I have a playlist that consists of older and newer music and I can hear the volume difference. What I have been using is something called Tom Steady DSP and works ok, just wandering if there is anything better.

I use the OctiMax plugin, its pricey (US$49.95) but it does the best, believe me, I've tried the others. With DSP plugins you generally have to pay for the ones that have any quality to speak of.

DFX...
Ozone...
Enhancer...

Those are the ones I use mostly. Only Enhancer is free though... the other two aren't free.

Oh, and OctiMax is pretty darn good, but I'd rather pay 50 bucks on weed or a video game than a Winamp DSP plug-in...

I think DFX and Ozone are very expensive just for a plugin.

Whats wrong with Dee2? Nobody has mentioned it yet.......

No I don't think so, Enhancer works fine with Winamp 2.9x, and gives an amazing sound quality.

Enhancer brings an awesome sound for free.

Dee2 is shareware, and in my opinion the sound quality of Enhancer and DFX is much better then sound quality of Dee2. :)
