Funny the way essays go off course

So I'm writting a report on my last year in industrial placement and goto the bit about social skills gained etc etc. And out popped this:

Then I start to wonder whether a computing degree was such a good choice for me :D

Visit a farm in southeast Asia, where the people aren't capitalists, but are just trying to make enough to survive. They work harder every day than any of us ever will most likely.

People are diurnal - we are active during the day. This doesn't hold true for 100% of the people of course, but the fact is that unless you are very wealthy you have to work to provide yourself clothing, food and shelter, and everyone else is working during the day, so most likely you will have to do that as well.

Start your own business Phily, and you can work whenever you want to. :)

I always found I could code a lot better after 6pm, I just couldn't do it during the day I dunno why. I don't see why working during the night is a problem, it's no different from working accross continents with people.

Unfortunately, in real life working often involves an obnoxious, yet indispensible, element. That element is called co-workers.

More likely you will also have to work when you don't want to if you want to keep your business profitable. ;)
