And two of their albums rocked (The Queen is Dead, Strangeways Here We Come). Morrissey went on to make some terrible albums (Kill Uncle, Southpaw) and some really decent stuff (Vauxhall, Your Arsenal) but he never seemed to recapture what he had with The Smiths.
