Hmm, looks like something I'd expect from Cube 2 (the movie).

VERY cool... looks like you figured out DM/SSC syncing :P

The intro is bit long in this 566 MhZ comp though....

Raz 1st August 2003 17:04

Very very cool. Excellent work. I love it.

dirkdeftly 1st August 2003 20:12

wow...i love this...i've tried doing things like this before *with the random scope movement and such) but i've never got it to work...nice job fsk, very nice

Pixelcraft 1st August 2003 21:29

Very very cool  Boy does it look sweet with loud music! Those squares just fly everywhere! :p

UnConeD 1st August 2003 22:58

Yeah, very cool ;). Can't wait to see what you'll do next with synching.

anubis2003 2nd August 2003 00:18

That's sweet dude. Can't wait til your pack.

Zevensoft 2nd August 2003 02:20

[Ishan] 2nd August 2003 09:49

that's right i'll do that again -

:D

Jaak 2nd August 2003 14:34

This ROCKS!! man, really great.

Jaheckelsafar 2nd August 2003 15:04

That's prety frikken sweet. Is the speed of the squares sound reponsive? I know a couple of times during quiet passages there were some sqaures racing across the cube.

Tuggummi 2nd August 2003 22:52

Nice one :)
The syncing is good, the idea is pretty original and the aesthethics look pretty good too. I like especially that angle/depth of it.

Great to see you back fsk ;)

S-uper_T-oast 3rd August 2003 02:28

I really like the synching, now I just have to get it down good enough... ugh. This is a really good preset though!

fsk 4th August 2003 11:40

yes the the speed of movement and rotation are both controled by music but I used getspec (dunno why:), prob. because its always positive). The squares that fly fast on slow music are the ones that read the 'signal' close to 0 (getspec(0 ,0,0)).Ill use getosc to fix this.
I like this preset too, but to be honest I didnt expect such a good response for it. This is a more than welcome moral boost:D. THX guys.

<edit> I just noticed Im now a senior member:cool:

dirkdeftly 5th August 2003 00:23

btw, you should fix it so that objects too close to the camera (like, say, the back of the cube, which is forever flitting across the screen) don't get drawn...

Deamon 5th August 2003 08:33

Very, very, very nice :) Looks really great dude,

*drool*

zamuz 5th August 2003 22:25

Pixelcraft 7th August 2003 12:58

I like this one a lot better. Looks a lot more neon. :)

S-uper_T-oast 8th August 2003 02:38

I like the colors of the original better, but this one is more neonish.

Tuggummi 8th August 2003 17:03

That reminds me...

<fsk> I know shit about dm's.

Try saying that again after this :D

btw. I made a "inside a cube" preset too a couple of weeks back... now it looks so dull and boring... it too has squares, but they're flat :( Damn, damn, damn you fsk :p

jheriko 9th August 2003 16:45

Nice work. It would be cool if you could make the squares travel between non-opposing faces.

sidd 9th August 2003 20:13

Insaaaaano...
cant wait till new pd
