Skin downloads saying it's not supported

I've tried downloading two winamp 3 skins, and both say "The skin you're trying to load doesn't seem to be supported by Winamp 3"

I am using build #488 (x86)

The two skins I'm trying to use are:

http://www.winamp.com/skins/detail.j...onentId=118898
http://www.winamp.com/skins/detail.j...onentId=119769

Both have this problem.

Thanks for your help!

I have the same damn problem, it worked before, but since I reformatted, it really sucks the llamas ass.

WindowsME problem maybe? Anyway, some skins make heavy use of desktop alpha and, by default, these will only run on Windows 2000 and XP. Though if you get this error, right-click and select "Save target As..." on the download link and download it to the Winamp3/skins folder. Restart. You should be able to select it from there.

I am using windowsME... Are the skins really that sensitive to OS? It's disappointing to be sure... I would think Winamp would be able to adapt the skin to the OS. Is there a workaround?

Thanks,
Drew
