WinAmp closing when another app is running
For about a month now, my WinAmp has been behaving strangely. I start it and listen to a MP3, but whenever I start another program (IE, Kazaa, MS Word... about anything), WA works for maybe 30 seconds and then closes down, with no error message.
I can start it back, but it once again closes down in about 30 seconds. But if I only start WA and no other program, it works perfectly. I was quite amazed when my WA 3 started doing this, so I decided to switch back to WA 2.91 earlier today (I have been running WA 3 for about a year). But what did I notice? Even with a fresh install, my new WA does the same thing. I've browsed the forum for quite a long time, but I seem to be the only one with this problem... I'm running W2k, every latest drivers and a Sound Blaster 128. If someone knows how to solve that problem (which for some reason just began to appear, after a year of flawless usage), please help me |
Same Problem
I am having the same problem. I am running Windows XP pro. When I run Winamp3 solo it's fine, but within about 20 seconds of starting another program (regardless of what it is) winamp closes. I do not get an error message, and I can reopen it imediatly.
Anybody have any ideas? Ryan |
